I absolutely love this place! The garlic bread, the madras, and the beef samosas—simply delicious. Definitely one of my favorite spots in London.

An absolute place for a fancy and delicious meal in Central London. After a good marathon, me and my friends had a craving for a good Indian meal. We popped in here and it was a treat for us. For vegetarians, do try the Baingan Masala, it’s an absolute masterpiece! For non- vegetarians, you get more variety, go for Chicken Tandoori starter. But, honestly, a must visit place on Soho.

I visited by chance on the way home from a few drinks, and was really impressed. All the staff are professional, polite and friendly, and the food was delicious. I enjoyed a prawn kadai which was pleasingly very spicy and with tremendous depth of flavour. The paratha was cooked fresh and perfect for scooping up sauce, and I also really liked the flavours of the aloo gobi. I tried the house white wine which was suitably cold and refreshing. I love Indian food and this was a satisfying and uplifting meal!

The last time I was in the Frith Street area was in 1983, so it was wonderful to find Gopal’s Indian restaurant just around the corner from 55, where I used to work as a staff writer. The restaurant staff made me feel very welcome and turned my meal for one into a special evening. Their veggie menu is wonderful. The food is fresh and tastes fabulous. I won’t wait another 42 years before my next visit!

I had the pleasure of dining at this Indian restaurant and I must say, their vegan dishes were an absolute delight. The freshness and burst of flavors in each bite were truly impressive. It's rare to find such well-prepared vegan options that satisfy both the palate and the desire for a wholesome meal. If you're looking for a fantastic culinary experience, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit!
